Iyaadh's 1st Alimkids session
He enjoyed it much...especially the art and parachute activities tapi still malu2 kambing :)
Hasil daripada sessi pertama Iyaadh di Alimkids @ Tadika Dzuliman, Seksyen 9
Balik rumah pon dia still excited lukis2 tangan (walaupon kalo diamati, tak tau pon yg tu adalah lukisan tangan sebenarnye. hehe).
Can't wait for the next session this coming Saturday.

Alimkids playgroup, anyone?
But hey, Alimkids is planning to open their playgroup session in Section 9 Shah Alam middle of next month - only if they can manage to gather at least 10-15 kids for the session.
Can call Teacher Nita 0133628648 if interested.
For further details on this playgroup, you may visits Alimkids official website here.
Thanks.

Swimming pool besar!
yes, it was his 1st experience mandi laut, and 1st swimming experience for aidan :)
macam iyaadh's 1st experience into the pool (that time, he was 6 months old), dia sangat excited nak mandi laut.. Aidan, on the other hand, lebih kepada expression ... "tempat ape ni?" *sambil membuat muka pelik* dan lebih excited nak main pasir. hehe.
pose sebelum terjun laut
sebelum mandi laut, aktiviti main pasir dulu *ekceli, lebih kepada aktiviti MAKAN pasir*
but Alhamdulillah, both takde masalah nak masuk laut and they enjoyed it much.

Kelaparan selepas berenang-renang, but refused to eat anything else except for Pringles
owh, dan si adik x menolak rezeki. makan adalah hobi utama
it was all an impromptu decision. Initially was planning to go somewhere nearby, Kemensah Waterfall in Ulu Klang. Tapi call chalet situ semua fully booked. So, batal plan nak mandi manda.
Then the next morning, my brother & wifey ajak picnic kat PD - with his gang, which is no strangers to us.. so, kami pon, OK lah. Join. Lepas Jumaatan, zaaassss to PD and reached there around 3:30 pm.
sempat mandi for like, 1-2 hours je. then settlekan budak2, bergerak pulang while yang lelain stay sampai malam dan berunggun api kat situ.
singgah solat kat masjid teluk kemang. plan awalnya lepas solat terus pulang KL. But since situ ada shower and lumayan bersih, maka kami husband & wife mengambil keputusan utk tumpang mandi skali kat masjid tu. selesai mandi, memandangkan hampir maghrib, maka sambung tunggu sampai selesai maghrib.
Selepas maghrib, perut plak kembali lapar and decided to go to pekan PD to look for kedai ikan bakar. tapi bila pusing2 keliling pekan, takde yg menarik hati and tiba2 ternampak Ice Room dan mengambil keputusan utk makan situ je. hiks.
Lepas dinner, baru la betul2 bergerak meninggalkan PD and we reached home at almost 11pm. and the kids dua-dua flat abis.
all in all, it was FUN! :)

pre-school hunting part 2
but hey! at least kurang pening kepala nak pilih tadika from list yg berjela2 :)
stakat ni baru berjaya visit 4 pre-schools, two in section 7, one in section 9 and one in section 3.
out of the 4 kindies i've visited, hati sudah agak terpaut ke Brainy Bunch Islamic Montessori di seksyen 3, shah alam.
Will do a special entry on this pre-school soon. :)

u know what....
Have been doing this for the past few weeks, on the net and also by driving around Shah Alam. ngehehe.
No intention to send iyaadh to any long hours pre-school programs yet. Cuma survey2 saje so that me & hubby can start doing our budget planning and what not.
Kriteria2 kindergarten yg saya idamkan adalah seperti berikut :
1) English-Islamic Integrated, which includes qiraati, simple hafazan, fardhu ain (theory & practical). Having Bhs Arab, and other extra co-curriculum like swimming, leadership activities, etc etc adalah bonus.
2) Preferably, tadika tu beroperasi in a premise yg spacious and ada laman luar for the kids to explore both world - indoor & outdoor. To be frank, saya sebenarnye agak skeptikal ttg kebaikan tadika yang beroperasi di bangunan shoplots kerana :
- dari segi kesihatan - kanak2 lebih lama dalam keadaan ber-aircond dan terkurung dalam bangunan, dan akan lebih teruk kalau ada kanak2 lain yg sakit/demam/selsema etc
- kurang peluang utk mengeksplorasi keadaan alam sekitar di luar kelas / kurang ciri2 adventourous
- dari segi keselamatan, since it's situated in a busy area - kedai2 and banyak strangers.
- kanak2 juga mungkin akan agak spoil bila terbiasa dgn keadaan yg terlalu selesa (aircond/peralatan belajar yg cantik & nampak mewah). Mungkin akan ada sedikit culture-shock bile masuk sekolah rendah, unless if the parents can afford to send them to any private/international school.
Apapun, mungkin sangkaan saya kurang tepat, and because of this, I'll still include those pre-schools yg beroperasi di shoplots into my list :)
3) Safe facilities & healthy-halal foods
4) Affordable fees, of course
and few other criterias - that i couldn't find the suitable words to describe it here.
and if you notice - i don't put 'jarak-lokasi-tadika-dari-rumah' into my criteria. Sebabnya, I don't mind to drive extra miles (as long as masih dalam lingkungan kewarasan fikiran) in getting the best education for my kids.
After all, I used to send and pick up my younger sisters to their school in Klang & KL before. *but...but...now, i think KL sudah terkeluar dari lingkungan kewarasan ;p*
anyway, I have shortlisted some of the pre-schools available in Shah Alam that might meet these criteria :-
Have not done the survey in details yet and there are still a lot checking and research need to be done. One of it - is to visit tadika2 ni one by one. definitely will enjoy the activity! =D
For the time being, maybe i'll just send Iyaadh for a once-a-week-playschool program (considering Alimkids for now - maaf lissa, selayang jauh sgt, kalo x sy hantar iyaadh kat centre kamu je :P) and basic mengaji/reading classes (CIC does have this mengaji clasess for 3 y.o kids!)
